I responded to an ad on Kijiji for a contract sewing job and it was Veronique! Sadly, I didn’t stay in Montreal but I was so excited to talk to her and see her collection. She is a real inspiration!

doof doof scavenger! Nothing excites her more than repetitive sounds like those of a sewing machine… except maybe garbage day. Uses the sewing machine her mom made her baby clothes with and refuses to read manuals. Likes to stitch rip for hours in 40 degree humidity and always has a pot of tea on the counter.
