Screen Printing

In 2005, with pin:ksox (a group of friends throwing underground breakcore parties in Toronto) we decided to learn how to screen print our logo and make some t-shirts. We printed on *everything*, t-shirts, patches, hats and sold them at our parties. This was the beginning of my screen printing obsession. Over the last 10 years I made a lot of patches and sold some, but mostly gave them to friends and strangers at events and festivals. I still have the original PIN:KSOX screen!

I print at least a hundred or so patches every summer to take to festivals.

I even figured out how to make my own screen emulsion!

In 2010 I discovered Deconstructed Screen Printing and did a lot of experimenting with dyes.

I also do custom prints and contracts… like the Dusty Beavers (a Burning Man theme camp). But mostly print for free party crews to help them make money at their events: Smerk, Freetekno, Mtl Bassix, Hardtimes, Abitek…
